This is it, guys...the drink that defined millions of childhoods and dreams! The famous Disneyland's Dole Whip from The Tiki Room!
If you have ever visited either Adventureland at Disneyland or Magic Kingdom at Disney World, you probably have tried the Dole Pineapple Whip. It is one of those "must have" while at the parks, And it has become as iconic as the mouse itself.
I have always loved this delicious and refreshing beverage since the days when I worked in the Disneyland Entertainment Division in Anaheim as a proud member of several shows, parades, cavalcades, and as many of the worldwide famous Disney Characters. It was one of the best jobs I've ever had!
The best thing about this wonderful treat is how simple it is! It only require 3 ingredients to make: pineapple chunks, pineapple juice, and vanilla ice cream. That's all!
Moms and dads stuck at home with kids for the past year during Covid-19, this one is for you: you can add 1/4 cup of white rum to the mix and have an adult version of the cocktail. You are welcome! 😉
What is the flavor profile?
Sweet and refreshing.
What ingredients will I need to make this?
Pineapple chunks, pineapple juice, and vanilla ice cream.
What else will I need to make this?
A measuring cup, an ice cream scooper, and a blender.
Can I make substitutions?
You can use any pineapple juice of your choice but do not use the syrup that comes with the canned pineapples. You can also use either canned pineapples or store-bought frozen pineapple chunks. Do not use crushed pineapple or pineapple puree.
Can I make additions?
